About Me

Jasmin Jessen is a freelance broadcast and multimedia journalist in her third year at UEA.

She has completed BJTC law and ethics exams and will be accredited by her graduation in July 2024.

Jasmin has newsroom and editorial experience, producing TV, radio, and online content for UEAJournalism News and editing UEAJournalism.com.

She has experience in editing and production software, including Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition, Final Cut Pro, and Ooona Subtitling Tools. 

Jasmin is particularly talented at producing video content for social media, adapting content to be accessible, and working to include diverse communities in news media.

She has reported on court cases, and completed work placement with BBC East, Bauer News East, and the Quadram Institute communications team.
